The organisers of the annual Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Exhibition SPATEX has announced dates for its 15th exhibition

The Pool, Spa & Lifestyle Show will run from 5 – 7 February 2011 at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Exhibition Centre .The event is the UK’s largest swimming pool and hot tub exhibition.

Trade visitors will have the opportunity to see the industry’s most innovative products showcased by companies from across the UK and internationally as well as network with key suppliers and contractors within the wet leisure sector.

With industry experts on hand for free and impartial advice, together with a full and varied Workshop Programme, SPATEX 2011 will provide an unrivalled centre of information.

Michele Bridle, SPATEX Organiser says: “We are delighted to host our 15th show, which will be bigger and better than ever and look forward to seeing more new products being unveiled at the event next year.

“The three day exhibition, which runs over a weekend, attracts audiences from both trade and consumer; last year we saw over 1,500 visitors come through the door. We’re looking forward to seeing even more people this year having already secured 80 exhibitors.”

The annual BISHTA and SPATA Awards will also take place during the weekend. These awards recognise the achievements of the hot tub and pool industry by showcasing the best examples of products, construction, design and innovation.

Chris Hayes, BISHTA and SPATA’s Managing Director, says: “Next year’s event will see a number of milestones as we will be celebrating the 35th year of the SPATA Awards, the 50th anniversary of SPATA and the 10th anniversary of BISHTA.   Given how tough the judging process was last year we expect it to be ever more competitive when we see this year’s entries come in.”

The entry pack is now available and members have until Friday 5th November to submit their projects and the judging process will take place in December.
